These Modular SDI (Serial Digital Interface) Seamless Matrix Switchers support up to 160-SDI Inputs and up to 160-SDI outputs and are SDI systems used in professional video production and broadcasting environments. They are designed to route and switch SDI (SMTP 259M), HD-SDI (SMTP 292M) and 3G-SDI (SMTP 424M) 1920x1080p at 60 Hz video signals in real-time, allowing multiple video sources to be connected to multiple destinations.
These Seamless SDI Matrix Switchers provide advanced features like sophisticated image switching capabilities to ensure a seamless switching experience. The term "seamless" refers to the switcher's ability to switch between video sources without any visible interruption or delay in the output signal. This is particularly important in live events and broadcasting where a smooth and continuous video signal is essential.
Not only is this product an SDI matrix switch it is designed to support multiple video wall configurations using a tablet to create the video walls. The number of video walls, and quantity, is only limited by the number of SDI outputs that you have. Also, the SDI output cards include an internal DIP switch for resolution adjustment for times when the auto-adoption cannot detect an unusual display or output device video resolution.

These different Modular SDI Matrix Switchers are made up of a switcher chassis with multiple input slots & multiple output slots for 4-port SDI input & 4-port SDI output cards.
By having 4-port slide in cards the matrix is exceptionally reliable as in the unlikely even there is a loss of signal you just replace the card with a spare you have purchased or get another from us. The complete matrix doesn't have to be sent in for repair.
