This Matrix Switch Corporation MSC-SFL-108 8 Channel 3G-SDI - SDI/HDSDI Over Fiber Extender - Fiber Link Product Solution are complete systems. These systems take SDI copper BNC inputs and then convert them using SMPTE MSA SFP plug in's, to single mode optical fiber for distances of up to 20KM and back to SDI BNC copper video outputs.
The Model MSC-SFL-108 System provides eight 3G-SDI channels like the Model MSC-SFL-107 System, except the eight channel 3G-SDI BNC to fiber transmitter is a powerful modular 1RU routing switcher (upgrade-able to a 16x16), with RS232, RS485, Ethernet, web page interface, and several front panel options, including simple status panel (default), Push Button XY Control, or multi-function 1/4 VGA Display, thumb wheel and keypad local control panel. The fiber receive unit is the same compact passive device as used with the Model MSC-SFL-107 System.
