Once implemented you can take advantage of enhanced coverage with the ability to penetrate up to 12 floors when indoors and cover areas of up to 25,000 square feet outside. Operating on the 900 MHz frequency this handset offers support for secure communications and with the implementation of single cell technology EnGenius has managed to eliminate the need for added base stations and repeaters altogether. In addition to phone based communications, the DuraFon-SIP supports 2-way intercom and broadcast functionality allowing users to communicate directly separate of the base unit as well as the ability to broadcast messages to all users or to a select handsets.
