With its own control software supplied the user can simply store and recall a default EDID information, also supporting EDID Re-timer / EDID Recorder setting in non-volatile memory and supports HDCP handshaking.

The SC-HDM2-T4KHD allows HDMI source to boot directly from EDID Reader/Writer/Re-timer mode.
