The DVI Dual Link Extender with Audio uses Cat 5e cables to establish a reliable connection method, which works efficiently with the wiring system present in most modern office buildings. It can extend your DVI display to a distance of over 210 feet using Cat 5e cables. With its inbuilt ATEN'S technology, it can transmit A/V signals over more than one Cat 5e cable. Despite using ATEN default EDID, it is able to learn and save EDID configurations of the remote display.
Second Cat 5e cable can be used to get dual link video signals. It lends crystal clear picture and sound quality for installations of DVI video displays, by garnering support from stereo audio and popular wide screen video formats.
