The chassis′s back plane allows various technologies to be converted and switched eliminating external converters and it allows any input to be routed to any output, or the same input to be routed to all outputs, or any combination with 7-technologies with this configure to 8-HDMI in and 8-HDBaseT extenders which are included. The core of the Modular HDMI Matrix Routers consist of a 9x9 Modular Matrix chassis and its highly configurable backplane that supports 9 input HDMI cards and 9 HDBaseT (RJ45) connections.You can control the matrix via an iPad, Android, Web GUI, RS232, Control4 & Front Buttons. The matrix does not have IR nor a remote control.
The base model of this 8X8 HDMI Matrix Switcher over CAT6 is HDTV Supplys Modular HDMI Matrix Router and is preconfigured with 8-female HDMI inputs and 8-HDBaset outputs and comes with 8-HDBaseT receivers. By having 1-port slide in cards the matrix is very reliable as in the unlikely even there is a loss of signal you just replace the card with a spare you have purchased or order another from us.
