WolfPack 32 Feet CAT6 Cables Used with WolfPack HDMI Matrix Switcher and WolfPack HDMI Extenders
HDTV Supplys WolfPack HDMI Matrix Switchers allow you to route multiple HDMI sources to multiple displays. However, HDMI cables alone have a limited range for transmitting high-quality signals. This is where our WolfPack CAT6 cables and HDMI extenders come into play. Using CAT6 cables, HDMI signals can be transmitted over long distances without losing quality. Here’s how they work together:
Step-by-Step Process:
1. HDMI Matrix Switcher: The matrix switcher connects to multiple HDMI sources like Blu-ray players, consoles, or streaming devices. It allows you to control which source appears on which display, offering great flexibility in a home theater or professional setting.
2. HDMI Extenders: Since HDMI cables have distance limitations (uo to 330 feet for high-quality signals), HDMI extenders are used to transmit the signal over longer distances. The extender system includes two parts: a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter connects to the matrix switcher, while the receiver connects to the display.
3. CAT6 Cable: The HDMI extender allows the use of Cat6 cables to transmit the HDMI signal. Our CAT6 cables are capable of carrying the signal up to 100 feet), making them perfect for long-distance connections. You would run the CAT6 cable between the transmitter and receiver.
Setup Example:
- Connect HDMI sources to the HDMI Matrix Switcher’s inputs.
- Connect an HDMI Extender's transmitter to one of the HDMI Matrix Switcher's outputs.
- Run a CAT6 cable from the transmitter to the location of the display.
- Connect the other end of the CAT6 cable to the HDMI Extender’s receiver.
- Finally, connect the receiver to the display using a short HDMI cable.
This setup provides long-distance HDMI transmission, delivering high-quality video and audio even in large setups like conference rooms, homes, or theaters.
