This advanced A/V unit will switch between 2 HDMI port effortlessly with the included remote. Not only does this unit support HDMI switching but it will convert component video and digital Toslink audio to HDMI out.

It does not upconvert the signal as what ever resolution goes in, comes out. This HDMI switch also provides remote (or RS-232) switching for 2 HDMI source units and what really makes it useful is its ability to convert any component video input into an HDCP compliant HDMI output. The switcher is an advanced audio/video switcher and video format converter designed to integrate the video output from an advanced A/V receiver with the A/V output of two HDMI-capable digital A/V source units into an HDMI-capable video monitor or TV.

Control of this switcher can be managed via its IR remote control, RS-232, or our optional RS-232 to Ethernet Converter. The RS-232 to Ethernet Converter allows control of the unit from anywhere in the world given you know how to write RS-232 code and have the correct serial Ethernet hardware. The 8x9 HDMI Matrix Switchers RS-232 control allows the switcher to also be controlled by 3rd party control systems like Crestron, AMX and Control4, or any computerized software/hardware control systems.

You now can experience all of the uncompressed high definition content on your television the way it was meant to be seen, in digital. Another important feature of this unit is the ability to function as a 2-in, 1-out HDMI switcher. Other features include a digital optical output, an IR input, an RS-232C port, and remote control.
